Day 137- Under Moonlit Skies

by Drohask May. 17, 2010 2130 views

We found ourselves tonight at Alderney Landing, an area of Dartmouth that looks across the harbour to downtown Halifax. The night air was pleasantly warm and surprisingly calm and it was a lovely site from which to enjoy the landscape and simply relax.

Hask captured this shot of several small boats in the harbour with the MacDonald Bridge and lights of Halifax in the background.

Dro snapped a shot of downtown Halifax glowing in the night.

How did you get the long exposure required for the waning moon and stars, but also the steady exposure of the bayliner in the water? I love the 1st shot.
