Day 249- Labour Free

Today was a beautiful, sunny day around Halifax. Hurricane Earl is now only evident in the piles of fallen tree branches that are being stacked for cleanup. The city seems to be alive again with everyone back to their usual schedules, and many people out enjoying the Labour Day holiday.

We were fortunate to both have the day off so we headed out to find some nice calm waters to enjoy. We found ourselves on the banks of Purcell's Cove, watching people sailing and jet skiing and enjoying the remaining warm days of summer. It is always a treat to have a Monday off to simply kick back and enjoy our time together.

Hask snapped a picture of a tree limb overlooking the waters of Purcells Cove.

Dro captured a look down the steps to a floating wharf.

Dro bonus shot - On the floating wharf, Dro captured the texture of the wood as the Dingle Park is visible in the background.

I always find your series full of a mixture of tenderness and of curiosity
What looks like you and differentiates you, what each perceives while you have the same landscape devantvous
It's very interesting
