Day 271- Quite the Ride

Our apologies for falling behind on postings as of late. These last couple of weeks have been incredibly hectic for us. Between working, taking courses and entertaining visitors we simply haven't been able to coordinate time to post entries. We have still been taking photos every day though, so we've got lots of catch-up posts to do and will hopefully get those done within the next week. For everyone that has still been dropping by the blog and leaving comments, thank you so so much for being patient with us. We really do appreciate every visit and every kind word.

This evening's photos came as a result of randomly happening upon our subject matter. Where we live there are no permanent amusement parks, so the only time we get to see a ferris wheel is when there is a travelling carnival in town. As luck should have it, we discovered one such carnival being set up in a large parking lot and we were able to enjoy the sight of the ferris wheel against the darkening sky. We're hoping to go back when things are operational and try some shots with the rides illuminated.

Hask snapped this image of the brightly coloured ferris wheel carts being set up for a carnival.

It's not a carnival without concessions. Dro captured these snack trailers being set up amongst the rides.
