Bedford Reservation

Nice day for a walk, but slow day on the photos. It's about 40F and partly cloudy, so all of the ice has melted off the trees and drips like rain onto the snow below. I dediced to brave the bridle trail, but it dead-ended (for me, a horse would have been fine) at a shallow stream that there was no way for me to get across without waterlogging my shoes. So, I had to turn around, which cut down on the different things for me to see. Hopefully, Spring is just around the corner…

This is obviously not from the Bedford Reservation, but from my desk.

Aha! Some green! This twig is lying on snow dimpled by the ice melting off the trees above…

(accent color) This evergreen really stood by itself, so I used the Accent Color function to make it stand out further.
