Furnace Run

I took a nice walk in the Furnace Run park of the Summit County Metroparks today.

Carnage from a Garlic Mustard pulling party. Garlic Mustard is an invasive species that is harming native plants. The park has requests to the public to pick this plant.

Charles F. Brush was a Cleveland-area native that invented the arc lamp, a class of lamps that produce light by an electric arc.

I saw a Blue Heron and a hawk, neither of which I could get a photo, but I did find a chipmunk that sat still!
