9/11 Friday Night Lights: Hudson at Jackson

The Jackson Polar Bears took a 10-0 lead into the locker room at halftime. However, Hudson rebounded in the second half, scoring 10 in the third quarter and 10 more points in the fourth to win, 20-10.

I would be remiss to not mention the remembrance of the terrorist attacks on New York, Washington DC, and Flight 93. The memory is painful and will be my “Pearl Harbor” that I will remember for the rest of my life.

If anyone comes across this post that lost someone on that day, my prayers go out to you. My prayers also go out to the rest of the country that we may regain the patriotism and camaraderie that we felt on 9/12.

It seems like overkill to have both this one and the next one, but I liked the view of the captains making their way to midfield…

… but this one is a clearer photo…

The Color Guard from the University of Akron National Guard ROTC.

I will never forget where I was when I heard about the attack on the World Trade Center.

I should crop out the opposite sideline, so the pic is just the color guard and the mascot…

… so I did and I like it much better.

This one turned out perfectly exposed…

After victories, the Hudson players sing the Alma Mater as the marching band plays.
