Today we headed west to Bowling Green, Ohio, home to Bowling Green State University, alma mater of Stephanie and her friend Julie. Julie, her kids, and her parents rode in one car while I drove Stephanie, and Steph's dad, Steve. We met Julie's husband, Brian, who drove in from Kalamazoo (the source of this trip was Brian picking up Julie and the kids after they spent the week in Cleveland).
We had a nice lunch at Easystreet Cafe, walked a two-mile loop around campus, checked out the bookstore, and were on our way home.
It was fun getting to see Julie and Stephanie reminiscing about their days at BG, for it was the first time they had been there together in about 10 years.
We took a more scenic route home (rather than the boring Ohio Turnpike) and stopped for some ice cream at Toft's in Sandusky. It was a fun day!
