Belgian supermarket

Foreign supermarkets are like my churches. I go there to worship. This one is close to Antwerp. I make J drive past it every time we go to visit his grandmother in Belgium.

Funny to see Dutch oysters in a Belgian supermarket

For all cheese lovers ;-)

For all cookie lovers ;-)

The end result (annotated)

Very Belgian, a bread machine outside on the street where you can get fresh bread 24/7. (annotated)

Erm... one word: Roosendaal! (I bet Breda, Tilburg, Limburgian towns as well)

Chocolates are 20% cheaper! But they already are in Breda and Roosendaal btw, otherwise those cities would lose all their business to Blegium (wich is 5 minutes from there). Pheasant is a rather 'common' thing in Rdaal. The shop at my parents corner has many of them and other wild birds (dead ones...), not puffins though... thank god (yep... I'm having a train of thoughts). And I'm still craving oisters....

For the record; if Cookie would move to a real CITY, she would find President Brie, Belgian cheese and J's cookies in her local supermarket.... along with shortcrust pastry. Pretty sure you can also get lemon mayonnaise here and I know I could get a pheasant if I asked my local Poulier. Pfff, the girl doesn't know how to shop.

Pffff.... Dutch oisters being CHEAPER in a Blegian supermarket is the message I think. Should have never left the bloody south ;-)

I just want to go to Belgium! I love those cookies too, the waffle ones that J likes.

Yes, the bread machine is brilliant. It's funny to see some items that we get here as imported goods. President brie and J's cookies.

I think I am in love with the bread machine. I want to talk to someone about importing them.
