Full blown foodporn - don't say I didn't warn you!

Going adventureous tonight and cooking with seafood I've not used before.
These are cockels from the Waddenzee

Grrrrrr! :-)

Heating 200 ml of white wine with some bay leaf salt and pepper. Toss in the cockels. Lid on it while you cook them

Three minutes later they're all open and done. Talk about fast food!

Serve with al dente tagliatelle, squeeze of lemon juice, fresh pepper and flat leaf parsly

don't look at them while you eat :-)

Even the empty shells afterwards are pretty

Spur of the moment dessert. Gotta love a full fridge

Comice pear, some left over nut bread, walnuts and some blue stilton = heaven in my world
