Tonight Sandi and I went to a very unusual concert of sorts at the Disney Concert Hall downtown, featuring clips from Stalin era Soviet films and live techno music spun by numerous well-known DJs (Cut Chemist, DJ Spooky, Peanut Butter Wolf, and many more). One of the highlights of the evening was an organist performing Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor at an incredible speed, accompanied by a pumping techno beat.

i think i've seen videos of this guy doin his thing before - but never in this context. looks amazing.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, the silhouette in the white box on the bottom of the picture is a guy who spent the whole concert creating paintings on what was basically a giant light box, then he would smear all the paint around and create an entirely new painting.
