Happy names day, my dear son!

For this recipe you will need:
180 g flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
120 g sugar
170 g butter - melted
3 eggs
4 apples
chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat owen (170 degrees Celsius) .
Grate the apples finely .
In a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, sugar and cinnamon, then add the melted butter and eggs and mix well, add grated apples and walnuts stirring again. Bake at 170 degrees about 30 minutes.

Sprinkle with powder sugar and frost with melted chocolate. Enjoy!

      This looks delicious. Wish I could have a piece, just have to leave out the cinnamon (allergic). but I am going to try the receipe without it.....Yumm!!

      I have never heard of that day...it must be wonderful though to get such a great treat! I would need it converted to ounces and degrees :-)

      You know I think I'm putting on weight just looking at your pictures. Also love the idea of name days-I'm suprised the greeting card industry hasn't caught on to them yet!
