Unesco World Heritage Site: Jewish cemetery in Třebíč

by Eiram Marie April. 11, 2011 6219 views

The cemetery has two parts, the first part from the 15th century and the second from the 19th. There are some 3,000 stones . The cemetery was in a trerrible condition until about 20 years ago students from the grammar school in Třebíč started to take care of it, it is hard to imagine how much hard work they put into it…..today it is listed as a World Heritage Site.
