Ok this theme is somethingfor me!! I hope you don´t mind if I participate too!

You need something warm and hearty on a cold day like this! Goulash soup is what you need!

500 g beef - cut into cubes

1 large onion ( or 2 smaller ones)

saute onion in a little vegetable oil

you will also need 2 teaspoons of paprika

add meat to the pot and stirr

and stirr for about 2 minutes

at this point add 1 teaspoon of salt and the paprika

you have to stirr quickly and just about a couple of seconds - this will give your goulash the wonderful colour -

add 2 tablespoons of tomatoe paste

a couple of peppers

now add water and either cook for about 1 1/2 hours, or use the pressure cooker (about 50 minuets then).
After about 30 minutes add potatoes.
Enjoy!

You are most welcome to the Mystic Theme Marie.....good week for you to start too. What a deliciously illustrated soup recipe. It looks so inviting. Quite different from goulash, but still has the all important ingredient "paprika." You are definitely the "Food Queen" of Photoblog!
Well Done!

Lord help me, I am so hungry now I am clawing at the screen. Taking this recipe down on paper now. Your pics should make your own cookbook. Or have you already done that?
