The light that shines beyond the day
has led us through this painful way
where progress builds to blessings rich
the lessons learned are designed to stitch
the quilt of time and space inside
this glorious wonder hypnotized
for when the path is paved with gold
the easy way is often tolled
the price we pay to climb the grind
is often designed with reward inside.
