Lammershoek wine estate in the Swartland make the most superb Chenin Blanc and Shiraz wines.

We arranged a private tasting and cellar tour with the farm owners daughter. She was wonderful, her wine was wonderful and Hugh was in his element and bought tons of wine.

This was at the Bardenhorst Family Wines Estate. We has a seriously casual tasting. Again, we loved the wines and ordered quite a few bottles. By now it was time to go for a good lunch.

The Bardenhorst family pet.

No formal tasting as you can see. This is Adie Bardenhorst, the farm owner and wine maker.

Fantastic! Old Hugga looks like he belongs, I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up on a vinyard in the Cape when you retire... Love the lamb! Don't you think Hugh looks like Mac in No 3, I do!
