Furnishing an empty house

This is our new home, second from right. We were lucky to get UM family housing at Northwood IV. It's a cute double storey 2-bedroom apartment in the wood heheh… lots of trees! We love it especially when we have a nature ranger in the house. Farhan taught me a lot about animals and trees ever since we arrived. I'm impressed with his knowlege on the subject of nature… all the money spent at MPH, Kino and Borders are worthwhile :)

A lil bit about the house… 2 bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs and kitchen & living room are downstairs. The house has basement where they wil hook-up washer & dryer by end of this month. This is where we store our boxes and bags.

Furnishing the house was quite fun especially there are lots of used furniture shops overhere. Our favorite is UM Disposition because all used goods are really cheap. Furthermore, we will need them for only 2 years, perhaps 5 years… First piece that we bought was dining table and of course the chairs as well. We bought beds from Instant Furniture, those were rather expensive compared to the rest of furniture. Some we bought from the ads at the marketplace.

Now we are pretty much settled down and can live comfortably here… alhamdulillah.

This is our new home, second from right. As you can see, there's a maple tree on the right and lots of pine and apple trees. Big backyard for us frisbeeing outside..

This is the front door!
