Nice meeting all of you, Ann Arbor Malaysians! To all family members and Muslim friends,Selamat Menyambut Ramadhan Al-Mubarak! UMIMSA (University of Michigan Malaysian Students Association) organized a fall get-together at Gallup Park, which is located along Huron River, not far from our house. We must come again to try the canoe and enjoy other recreational activities at this park. It’s quite a huge park with a lot of picnic spots and scenic walkways/bridges for brisk-walking, jogging, running, cycling, roller-blading… D was wearing the Bank’s cap and t-shirt. You are so loyal or you want to save energy to introduce yourself to Malaysian community here :-). Btw, this was our first gathering with Malaysian students. Farhan loves to pose with his friends, ducks! I lost Sarah for a while then I saw her snapping nice pictures of swans. Special ‘S’ pose for Sarah! BBQ-ing started… While waiting for more people to arrive, the guys were playing football… … and ladies were chatting… getting to know each other. My God! I felt so old talking to these people. Most of them are Chinese and majoring either Engineering or Actuarial Science. The president was doing her job to welcome all new students and chair the AGM to elect new committee members for 2007/08. Having difficulty to concentrate looking at those yummy chickens in front of us… Well… you guys can have drink first while waiting… Yeay! Finally the food was served. Yummy yummy! Farhan managed to learn new card trick from one of the Abangs.
