It was indeed a lovely iftar! Many thanks to Kak Fezah & Abg Amir and not to forget, Zaimi and Iskandar for ferrying us there and home. Lucky us when Kak Fezah invited us for berbuka puasa at her house in Westland, east of Ann Arbor; and if I’m not mistaken it took us about half an hour to reach there. They have been living in the States for more than 15 years. Though he was really tired and slept throughout the journey, Farhan could not resist to throw the ball through the basket. Wahh… they were preparing the murtabak. This helps as I miss pasar ramadhan very much! yumm.. I was helping out to fold tepung bungkus which I have never done it before. Well… there’s always a first time for everything. Hey I don’t mind frying popiah. Farhan was playing games with Arif, the only child of the host. We were busy eating and forgot to take picture of the food galore. I was so impressed with the host! Sarah met a new friend, Anisa. She’s very pretty; I guess that’s a plus from mixed marriage. I met a new friend as well, Amy, she is a doctor, giving up her career temporarily to follow husband pursuing his PhD. Big sacrifice, huh? Farhan was enjoying this and we had to force him to go back.
