D said that they criticized his papers a lot. But Alhamdulillah, at the end they decided to pass him. And then they treated him like the critic session did not happen. Odd this academic life. Being critical for the sake of challenging the mind.
I almost died being grilled like that. The congratulations at the end almost meant nothing.
