These are photos of my cousin ben, playing cricket at the 2007 Tony Temple Cricket Game in Shawnigan Lake, Vancouver Island. The Pigs Trotters play this game every year in honour of a founding father of Victoria cricket who died on the field. I have photos on here of last year's game, which was the first my team had ever won.
We won the game in a cakewalk.
I just learned what a cakewalk is. Apparently it involves walking in a circle to playing music; when the music stops, the person in front of it wins said cake. You need many cakes and a lot of patience to play this game.
You don't need cake for cricket, but it goes nice with the tea.
