Between party preparations I've spent some time practicing with my 100mm lens. A friend of mine who is a new realtor wants me to take her headshots for her. (Which I'm incredibly excited about and really nervous about too). I have had this lens for 2 months now and was confused by the focus issues I was having with it. It finally occurred to me to check the lens calibration and lo and behold...the new lens was severely back-focusing. I feel a little silly that it didn't occur to me earlier. Here's a mish mash of practicing...with a rather un-invested 9 year old.

It was drizzling and gloomy...I find shady days make for flat pictures and dreary skin tones.

You will take good pictures from your realtor friend with no issues at all.
