I finally took the official "school" photo since I refuse to pay for the crappy pictures from school. A couple outtakes too :-)

This is the one that I'll hang in the house for this year

Oh She is such a pretty, happy girl! I really adore her beautiful eyes and smile! blush
Hehe back to School, the picture's day been so awful for me as a kid until 6class  xD Generally, after years, we agreed that the Photographer did poor work with most of us, especially with my weirdo class groupsmile

Thank you for viewing my mother’s post(s). I am her daughter Emma H. I came back here after remembering my mom had made a photo blog. I remember posing for each photo. We had moved into a new house a year or two ago. My brother Zachary is 15 turning 16 soon. Nathan my other brother is 13 turning 14. I’m 12 turning 13. We now instead of owning just abby as our pet we adopted a new puppy this quarantine named Marley. We had found our ways.I myself persuaded to my dreams and I play trumpet like my oldest brother. I find that my mental illnesses shouldn’t get the best of me. Also nice photography it’s gorgeous!Best wishes. Thank you and hoped you enjoyed the update.😊

Emma, I am totally confused with your post. Please tell me about your mother, is she no longer photographing? I knew/ sensed some things were not right hence she pursued another venue, but was not sure. If you don't want to write here, you may send an email at [email protected]

It’s ok. My mother had ended her photography career. I just wanted to give others a update on how our family is doing.

You keep speaking of your mother in the past tense, did something happen to her?

Stephanie,
Do you use a specialty print shop to have your images printed? Or do you have a good photo printer? I think there is a bit of a learning curve in this area and I'm hungry for information. Thanks, if you don't mind sharing.

I've used Mpix in the past but have friends who have used Bay Photo, White House Custom Colour, Nations Photo Lab, and Millers and been pleased with the results.  For every printer that works for one person it seems to not work for someone else.

Truly our family has some bad luck but I can say we are blessed and gifted. (I’m the daughter in these photos just years later ECH)

#1 is beautiful - She is looking so grown up.
I really like #4 also, a soft, gentle and sweet shot.
The other are all great and  totally her! Great series and perfect for your studio portfolio!

Beautiful photo!   P.s I can only see your thumbnail photo...when I click on it to comment and view the other photos, the page is blank.  It’s been like this since mid October.  It is so frustrating!  I am sure all the photos that you posted here are all beautiful! Well done, Stephanie!

Yes, Helen that is a frustrating issue for me too.  I fortunately can view them on my desktop but I don't make it there often.  It has affected me interacting with other people on their blogs for sure.  Thank you!

Beautiful, she is turning in a beautiful young lady. I agree on your opinion about schoolpics, they are crapy and supposed to be taken by a pro. Mom time to step in,maybe a opurtunity for you. Show these pics to some parents

Thank you Peter!  It is amazing how bad the school pictures are...and they price they want you to pay for them!
