We had an amazingly fun evening and a very unusual event happen to us. It snowed! I haven't seen this much snow here for as long as I've lived here and I'd estimate we got around 2 inches. My children were over the top excited! Snow ball fights, snow angels, and building snowmen were the highlight of our evening. It felt like there was so much to take pictures of since I rarely get the opportunity to see snow.

It's like a winter wonderland!

Seeing the joy on your daughters face is something special. I have spent most of my life around snow, and I can't remember the last time I really felt excited about it. Great photos!

I can only imagine what it's like to deal with the snow so often.  It was purely magical for us!

These are delightful, just enough snow to make it fun!
Your landscapes of the snow and the trees are really beautiful.

How exciting for you and the kids.  I’m sure your photos are wonderful but I can only see the thumbnail...the page is blank when I click on the thumbnail to view and comment on others’ photos.  It’s been like this since mid October...I am so frustrated, but enough ranting.  I’m sure your photos are beautiful....have fun in the snow! ❄️

It definitely was Helen!  I completely understand your frustration.  I'm beginning to wonder if Photoblog will be going away.  I don't see how it can survive without mobile photo viewing capabilities.  The lack of communication is really frustrating as well.

Yes, that’s for sure! I sure hope they get it resolved as I really like this blog.

OMG Stephanie!!!! These photos are really awesome.  I especially like #1...there is such a sweetness between your daughter's expression, the snow falling, the colors. I just love it. Lucky for you that you were able to get snow and lucky for us that it has not hit here yet, although I must say it's 15 degrees this morning . Probably much colder than you've ever experienced in Texas smile BTW #5 light came from your flash or.... because it really does a nice job of pulling ones eyes towards your son's face.

Thank you Camellia!  Sometimes the light really helps the mood along.  I feel like the light did most of the work on these.  We'd freeze to death at 15 degrees.  We were out there in the 30's and I thought my toes and fingers were going to freeze off.

Very good series. I also have family who never have seen snow they asked one time, is it cold

I think we were all in shock when it started snowing because even the forecasters hadn't predicted it.  It was amazing!
