365/365

And that's a wrap! What an accomplishment for us to have completed our 365 projects...we should be very proud of ourselves. I've learned so much and I'm a little sad and a little glad it's done as I've poured every bit of my heart into it. I went through all my pictures and was impressed with my progress and just very pleased with the overall moments I captured. Thank you all for your support and for all the inspiration you have given me.

And here are all my 365 photos. I realized I took many, many more than just for my project. I'm kicking myself for not keeping track of how many I took but that's just not feasible with my storage restrictions. I bet it's easily 15,000 or more. I'm wishing each and every one of you a Happy New Year and wishing for all the best for you in 2018!

That looks pretty impressive, although I can’t see them full screen (as you know this issue has been going on since mid October).  What a good idea to put them in a collage.  Did you have to go through and save each one individually?  Happy new year, Stephanie and all the best to you and yours in 2018! 🎉🎊

I did save each one individually because I was not organized.  It was a great way to see my progress though.  Happy New Year Helen!  Thank you for inspiring me with your work!

Love love love this! I hope you share how you did the collage. Once again I hope this is not a good bye, but more of a beginning of a new start. I know you said you were not going to do the 365 any more, but I hope, like many I have seen on this blog, you post more or less on a daily basis, what you want to post, so that we can admire and appreciate your work. It's been fun. Wishing you and your family a very very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!cocktailcocktail

I did the collage in Photoshop elements as a contact sheet.  I can give you step by step directions if you're interested.  You have inspired me this year and I'm so glad you're continuing with a 365...I can only imagine where you'll go in 2018.  I guess time will tell how much I'll be around.  I think it will be hard in some ways not to post daily but we'll see.  Happy New Year to you and yours!

I am very much interested in learning how to create the collage. I wasn't even aware that PSE had that capability. Something else I have learned from you. smile

I have a very old version of elements and probably went about this the
hard way but here's how I did it. I saved all my photos in a folder.
In Elements click "file",then "Print Layouts", then "Contact Sheet".
Change the source folder to the folder
where your pictures are saved. I made the width and height 20 and
resolution 300 in case I want to print it. I unchecked "Use filename as
caption". Click Ok and let it do its thing. After that was done I opened a
new document that had height and width of 21 each so I could add a bit
of border to it. I dragged the collage into the new document and then
saved as a psd. I opened the psd file in Lightroom and added my
watermark and the border (I don't use Photoshop hardly at all) and then
exported as jpeg. I re-opened the jpeg in Elements and added the 2017
and saved again.  I'm sure I could've done those things in Elements if I only knew how, lol.
