"Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new." Brian Tracy
If you just started your photography journey and you already love it and you feel you are not learning enough, I would highly recommend you to join your local photography club.
I joined mine in January and it was the best decision I have made. I have already learned so much from other amazing photographers. I got a huge amount of inspiration and I was able to try different fields of photography in just a short period of time.
The club is constantly pushing me to go out of my comfort zone. I know that nowadays I shoot everything and anything but that is ok, I am learning. I know that one day I will find that one field in photography that I will focus on but I need to be patient and keep doing what I am doing right now.
The club's new season started in September and each month we have a Monthly One Shot with the assigned theme, different for each month. This month's theme is ABSTRACT.
I do have a great abstract photo in my galery already but the club knows it, so I need to come up with some other idea of an abstract photo for this month.
Here are some of my abstract photos that I have been trying to shoot this week for the Monthly One Shot competition in my phototgraphy club. I have not decided yet which one of them I am going to use but I have to pick one.
