Life of an MBA

Well, I have been living on my own for the past 2 years. Sharing a 3 bedroom flat amongst 6.
Its been fun, crazy messy (as you can see), simple (just the essentials), puzzling and fast!

This really is comfort because noone really cares where and how you live. All that matters is the end…which means getting a job. And each one of us has been running along towards this end…

This blog captures the li'l things around which my life has revolved over the past 2 years, in an attempt to earn a plum job after my MBA degree.

And the news is: 5 days back, I did land a rather plum job! :-)

And 4 months later, I will be a graduate..ready to enter the corporate world.

So now its time to clean up this whole place cuz in these two years, anticipation and laziness and being busy made us forget everything!

information is everything! really!

the day to day essentials

packaged safe drinking water ;) the sooo many old bottles that need to be thrown as soon as possible!! :O

Pots and pans
and my reflection in them

The many toothbrushes and the solitary washbasin

MBA motto! :D And I have got the lottery. Time for a new city now…

piles and piles and piles of old newspapers in the balcony. Yes, its a superbly messy place and the winds don't really help the balance too.

tip…tip…tip goes the tap

MBA reading+ general reading
(carton of books)

accounting and finance, 4Ps of marketing etc etc

ahem..well the commode. i know i know, i didnt even leave that out!

almirah.. with some 'glow in the dark' stars on it ..can you see them?

li'l caterpillar hanging by my almirah

this, that and many

dirty fan!

oatmeal, detergent soap and health pills (all together)

a solitary dry flower

free goodies!! ;) on shoestring budgets, this works wonders

the shoes, the backpack and the clothes :) for those rare days when we get to wear casual clothes.

windowpane! stacked with bottles again!

my iron…for speedy steam ironing in the morning!

dried rose in my marketing management book..

yep, my kitchen!

my washbasin, from down under

yours truly :)

just for a brighter afterthought :). In color, the very colorful room

love these photos. reminds me so much of my college days in delhi. but MBA, damn...always hated economics and maths...never read The Economic Times, hated even to get it in my hand...haha. anyway, in those days, i also enjoyed Fuel vodka alots. good luck with your corporate job.

This is a great post! Wonderful BW photos, and I really like some of the angles you use. Interesting words, yes I know how it can be, I was living for myself a few years, it can be messy sometimes. Thanks for the journey...
