B/W or Color?

sometimes tha B&W pictures show a dramatic image...which i really love......like the first one

b&w for me great shot

BW looks scarier. More haunting.

black would be nice if there is tone to the photo....for the colour, the skies seems to be a bit overexposed and the ship is underexposed...combining them both like what you did with your avatar will be a great idea...

both are fab, super angle, detail and lighting. (personally I love bw but like I said, either / or, they are great!)

I think I agree with Ed1973 that they work better as a set. I disagree with giulicrevatin because I tried using more contrast and it didn't look good. I only wish that the ship was not so dark. And finally, RozariaS, I know it looks like I'm scratching my genitals, but be assured I'm not.

Tough one to call - there are arguments for both that have already been made by the comments on here - the black and white looks dramatic and the colour is quite "ordinary" as we see the world like that - however, you can see more detail in the colour and the sky is cool - maybe they work best as a set together?

well i like the both.. but they have different effects. BW-dramatic... COLOR-strong

The colour has a normalness to it, but as the boat is mostly in shaddow, the black and white becomes more dramatic imo.

Therefore the B&W pic is the one for me!
