Small Town Rodeo

Summer time in Western Canada sees a lot of rodeos, both big and small. This was one we managed to spend an afternoon at in Smoky Lake, Alberta this past summer.

A little on the small side, the 2-day event is a worthwhile stop for anyone in the area though.

While it looks like the cowboy would be the winner here, he missed and the calf got clean way. This image is set to be published in the Go East of Edmonton tourism magazine later this year.
