For those of you who've been following my PhotoBlog this year, you've probably gathered that a lot of sad things have happened in the last three months, most notably the losses of my woofty Luna, my Grandfather and my cousin. A lot of tears have been shed of late and Yuletide festivities have been distinctly lacking in our house.
I was looking through my photos this morning, trying to decide on an image to end the year and while browsing my blog I was reminded of all the places I've been and memories I've made in 2017. In dark times it's easy to forget the little rays of light that make life good. When I started this blog in March, it was simply a better place to upload my pictures than Facebook but it's turned into somewhere I've seen my photography improve little by little and proved to that annoying silly voice in my head that I can still do some things.
So here's goodbye to 2017, you've been tough but I am tougher. To my followers, thanks for watching and for those of you who've commented, thanks for your support. Kind words from strangers are a wonderfully uplifting thing. I'll be back in the new year with more pictures for you (including the introduction of Freyr, the newest member of the Field family).
Cheers to 2018 and the coming of the spring!
