Primer Done!

So I FINALLY got all the layers of primer required to move on to my color. Covering up the red proved to be quite the ordeal. ( So actually I am NOT done, as I still have to do the trim, but I'm going to do that tonight and then do color, hopefully tomorrow. ) I ended up having to do THREE coats of primer before it actually turned out white. I'm no expert, and I don't know if you actually have it all white before you move on to the color, but I didn't want to find out the hard way; after having started the color, only find out that I should have done more. :P

I know it's just the primer, but already the whole room is opened up. It's weird looking into the room from the living room because it's so bright. It's kind of nice, especially since there is no light in the left part of the room.

And, I changed my mind on the color. Instead of the Barley (which I kept calling Buckwheat) I went with Oatmeal. When we finally get the moulding rectangles on the wall, we will do the insets with a color called Fig. It will give the rectangles a bit more depth. :) I'm looking forward to getting those done, but I don't know if I'm the right person to do them, as I hate measuring, and I think they require quite a bit of it. lol

Once I get the color on, I will be sure to post more pics.
