Be Courageous

I don’t know about you, but some days I just feel like I am on a giant treadmill and the only thing changing each day is my outfit. I am sure we have all been there, and if you are shaking your head in denial then perhaps you are one of those lucky ones ? Whichever camp you are currently residing in at this moment in time, I am happy to report that everything changes. From our moods to fashions to maybe even our hopes and dreams. I find it quite amusing (not sure if that is the correct word to use) how one day there seems to be this huge overpowering treadmill where you feel like an ant on the moving platform and then the next day POOF everything changes. Almost like someone has pulled the treadmill away from under your feet. I guess that it isn’t as simple or black and white as POOF but it sure feels like when the wheel finally turns. Sometimes the wheel can take 30 minutes or even 30 years to turn, but trust me it is going to turn. Change is inevitable, you can run, you can even hide under your treadmill but I promise you here and now it is coming. It is just a matter of what and when. It might be something small, like maybe a new route to the office due to pesky roadworks or it might be a bigger life altering change. Whatever sparks this change, cannot always been seen but it sure can be felt. Our gut feel has more powers than we realise. You can either see these changes as negative which in some cases they may be, changes aren’t always good things which arrive with sunshine and boxes of chocolates. But whatever changes come your way today, tomorrow or next week I hope that you have the courage and strength to handle whatever arrives at your door. Be courageous, open the door to Mr Change, smile into his face and say you are not going to beat me today.

Well said, Jennifer. I can certainly relate. I am noticing that when you have set a goal it is always a challenge but how we react to those challenges change so dramatically. There are days I am looking forward to the challenges but on some days I am not so optimistic.

It would be amazing if we could control our minds! After all, we can not control the challenges that life throw at us right?
