New York City

I have loved NYC since a child. Dont ask me why, I swallowed a fly, but NYC has been in my heart and soul for as long as I can remember. Before email, before the World Wide Web, before Google was my friend, before I even knew exactly where the USA was, NYC was thee place I longed for. Fast Forward many many years, and now I am lucky enough to say that this coming November 2017, shall signal my sixth (yes you read right) visit. The Big Apple, the city that literally does not sleep, the city that has a little of something for everyone from architecture, Broadway shows, breathtaking parks, shopping and never ending gems. Just a word of warning, this city is not for everyone. Some people go there, and return to tell me that I am nuts and that they hated it. The accommodation whether on Manhattan or in the surrounding areas namely Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, New Jersey etc are all very expensive, so you will need to search long and hard to find something to suit your requirements and wallet. I have a few tricks in my arsenal so if you would like some tips, drop me a comment. It is incredibly easy to get around Manhattan and surrounds, by using the affordable and extensive subway system. Else tackie power is the best way to see as much as possible and not miss anything. So in few a few weeks time, I shall be posting from our first stop : pics from New York, New York.

Nice! I'll be going (2nd time) next long weekend. We're staying in NJ so it's not so expensive. Groupons are one of my best
travel tips to save, save, save. Else tackie power? Hmmm...
