Words should come with a warning label.

Did you know that words are so powerful that they can :

  • inspire you;
  • anger you;
  • break you;
  • make you laugh;
  • make you cry;
  • hurt you;
  • heal you.

I saw the image below recently (courtesy of Google images) and it really struck me as the best advice that I have seen in a long time.

We often forget how our words can affect another person whether we are strangers, friends or partners. Even words spoken to ourselves can hurt or inspire us. I saw a video clip yesterday which was talking about how your self talk can affect your life. If you are always saying "I can't", "It's impossible" then you will come to believe it. If we get into a good habit of saying positive affirmations even as simple as "I CAN" this slowly changes our thinking and our attitudes, and slowly but surely a snowball effect happens. Like attracts like after all.

If you find yourself in a dark place where the curtains feel like they are permanently drawn - listen to some inspiring clips, upbeat music, soul uplifting poetry and slowly change that self talk to positive ones that push you forwards, upwards and to a place where nothing is impossible to attain.

Wishing you a day, week, month and year filled with "I CAN" words. Leave the doubt and fear behind, I know that YOU CAN do it !

What inspires you ? Leave me a comment below.

Much Love

Jennifer
