We arrived in Erickson, near Creston, BC, late on our second day and stayed with Tom and Cheryl. Here we are in the morning standing in their yard which overlooks the Goat River - just a beautiful view. Before leaving Creston, Tom and Cheryl took us on a little tour which included a walk in the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area. This is a wildlife viewing tower. We climbed the tower and surveyed the scene. Here, Tom points out various items of interest to Margaret. Before leaving Creston, we went to a local winery, called Skimmerhorne Winery (named after a local mountain), where we enjoyed lunch on their deck and some wine from their kegs. Margaret then purchased a case to give to people as we continue our cross country odyssey. After lunch, we bade farwell to our gracious hosts and departed for Alberta.
