Cross Canada Trip - Day 8

by Greg Blaney July. 04, 2008 1404 views

Today we visited a heritage site near Saskatoon called Wanuskewan, which is where the natives used to winter and hunt. This is Greg acting like one of them.

We followed the trail and came across an archaeological dig. The head archaeologist talked to Margaret and her sister, Sister Lenore, for quite awhile, explaining what they've found.

In the evening, we drove out to Margaret's hometown of Allan.

Margaret's parents gravestone.

Here is all that remains of the farm that Margaret grew up on.
