Oak Bay Collector Car Festival

I took my camera to an annual event held within the District of Oak Bay on their main street – Oak Bay Avenue (who’d have figured?). This event is called the Oak Bay Collector Car Festival. I have to say that I’m not a car guy. I appreciate that mine gets me from point A to point B and that gas costs way more than it used to, but I have to admit that there were some pretty impressive vehicles on display. They included older ones that have been fully restored, exotic European models and others in between. Here are selected photos from my outing. I'll try my best to identify the type of car but…….. no guarantees I'll get it right.

1966 Ford Mustang and son. The owner said he gets more questions about the pedal car than the real one.

Bug eyes. I guess the owner does a lot of night driving?

A Lotus Seven sports car. The yellow colour does not indicate a lemon, I’m guessing.

McLaren 570s. My car is red too, but that’s where the similarity ends!

Don’t know what kind of car this is, but it definitely caught the interest of other photographers!
