Growing up I have acquired many traditions. Some I keep up and some I do not. That in itself is a tradition.

One tradition I have slacked on is the New Year's Day Dinner. So with 2019 I decided to renew it. I cheated in a way that I did not prepare it, but went to a local BBQ establishment to purchase what I wanted.

To my surprise they did not have the Black Eyed Peas so I substituted with Pinto Beans. Nor did they have Corn Bread, but they gave me a thick slice of Jalapeno Bread. I got my Pork Ribs and a few slices of Brisket.

So now I look forward to a healthy and prosperous 2019!
