Frosty Morning Trees

I am currently doing a huge sorting of my old photos on hard drives and doing multiple back ups of all my portfolio as far back as 2008, so some sets of photos are coming to light that I haven't looked at for a long time. Because it is still a bit restrictive going out to take photos in an informal way that is enjoyable I have decided to place small sets on my blog to show them to a new audience. I hope you enjoy them.

This set are taken on a public right of way that follows a very old horse drawn carriage route from a stately home to the local village church. It is now the driveway to a farm but it is a legal public footpath, further on, part of the original carriage route is now only accessible on foot. This was in February 2011 at 7 am. It was bitterly cold and I shudder when I remember how cold it was. Most of you probably know if you are in cold countries what it feels like to be holding a camera with bare hands in minus temperatures for a couple of hours. The sun wasn't up when I arrived.
