Kindle

This was just one of those shots you stumble upon. It was taken on a beach in Cornwall ten years ago, one I had forgotten, and the concrete steps are the sea defences at the back of the beach.

I just had to take it because it was such a great composition unintentionally made by the lady concerned. There are just so many things about it that I like. The way there are just two main colours the pastel blue and pink which are repeated and present in all her things and yet laid out in a pleasing display with the flip flops on the ground balancing the blue of her throw and bathing costume and the pink valerian flowers echoing her towel. The fact that she is lost in the moment and engrossed in her Kindle reading, she even has blue sunglasses and is resting her head on a blue coat or bag.

The difference between an artist's eye and a commoner .....you saw the pink flowers, I didn't until your mention.
