A very different job

In the docks of Santarem, Pará, Brazil, I found someone who has a very different job than anyone else. This fisherman, Manoel, rings a bell and this is the call for the river dolphins of the Tapajos river. Tourists pay 1 real for 1 fish. Manoel tights the fish to a rope and then throw it to the dolphins. The tourists can enjoy the show and take photos. More fish, more chances.

Please note that these animals are totally free... this is where the rivers Tapajos and Amazonas meet and they therefore are in their natural habitat.

reportage intéressant. ça peut lui faire quelques sous de plus en fin de journée, et l'on sait que beaucoup de pêcheurs ne gagnent que jute de quoi se nourrir.
