Children teach us many things. High energy, enthusiasm, concentration, innocence as well as mischief! Children are same everywhere–whether in a city in America, Europe or a small village in remote Himalayas.
These pictures were taken in Haa, a valley at 10,000 feet above mean sea level in Bhutan Himalayas recently. These children were playing by themselves in a public square. Initially, they were shy of the camera. See the innocence on their faces in the last three pictures. But once they overcame the shyness, out came the mischief—as you can see the girl making faces in the first picture!

Making faces!

No longer shy.

I am feeling shy!

Hey, don't stare at me!

Climbing the stairs.
