Round and round in circles...

I've had terrible trouble finding the right photo for today's posting. I thought I'd got a great shot in the Cathedral cloisters as I walked to school this morning, taken with my compact camera, but the light levels weren't great and the resulting the noise in the photo was unusable. Shooting outside hasn't really been an option due to the dreadful weather so I started searching the house for something to shoot indoors. After experimenting with various subjects, including Gracie, I plumped for our corkscrew. I converted it to black and white but then played around in Photoshop Elements to give it a bluish hue. I think the corkscrew's circular motion rather sums up my feeling of going round and round in circles trying to find today's photo!
