A roaring fire for a chilly day

It was my last day at Halsway Manor today and yet again it was a really overcast, cold day. Parts of the manor house date from the 15th century but it also houses two magnificent fireplaces. All through the weekend they've had roaring fires going in both hearths, very welcome with the weather we've had. I decided today's photo should be one of the fireplaces and its warm glow within.
