The sky looked reasonably clear this afternoon so I returned to the beach at West Wittering in time for the sunset at about 4.20pm. The tide was very definitely out at this stage but I managed to find some pools of water and this post (I'm not sure what these things are called - they're always there on beaches and they always seem to be wonky!) to provide some foreground interest. By the time I left there was quite a bank of cloud coming in (I fear tomorrow's weather may not be so benign) but when I took this shot I thought the cloud formations added some texture and I like the way the post is reflected in the water beneath it.
