Red sky at night...

As my last pupil left this afternoon I noticed some beautiful colours developing in the sky and I decided I should try and capture them for today's post. I'd missed the sunset by this time (4.30pm) but the colours just above the horizon were amazingly vivid so I jumped in the car and drove round the corner to the field where I shot my marching pylons a few weeks ago. I used the silhouette of this tree to hide the most intrusive pylon and took lots of shots as the colours changed.

      Wonderful shot. I like the fact that this was not during a blazing sunset. It looks nice with the varying colors of early dusk.
