An evening on the beach

After another beautiful sunny day I had some free time this evening so I decided to pop down to West Wittering for a walk with my camera. My original intention was to take some sunset shots but I realised when I arrived that I would have to be out of the car park before sunset or be locked in for the night! Instead I focussed on things I found on the beach, shooting a variety of subjects, the best of which I??ve posted here.

I love the weathered wood and metal you find on beaches - so much texture and vivid colours.

I got chatting to this young lady's owner who told that this evening was her first ever trip to the beach, age 3 months. She was very cute and seemed hugely excited by everything and everyone!

I have no idea what these posts are for but they create some lovely lines against the ripples in the sand.

I just had to take a beach hut shot! I was virtually lying on the sand as I took this with my wide angle lens.

I like the angle you've used on the last shot - makes a change from the usual beach hut shot!
