Flying giraffes!

by Helen Hooker January. 10, 2010 4059 views

You??ve no doubt heard of flying pigs but I decided to go for flying giraffes today courtesy of this mobile for today??s photo! I shot it hanging in our living room, lit with just the soft light reflected by all the snow outside the window. I used the largest aperture possible (f1.8 on my ??nifty fifty??) to ensure that only one of the giraffes was properly in focus.

Great shot - the composition is very well balanced!
I wonder how it might have looked through the lensbaby.

Nice composition and depth of field.

Ok - I've wanted to ask for some time, and it now seems appropriate - what is the significance of Girafferacing?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
