Music machine (theme)

I was a bit stuck for ideas for today??s machinery theme ?? I did consider our new toaster but couldn??t make it look inspiring. In the end I thought I??d photograph another piece of machinery (if you can call it that as it has no moving parts!), my iPod Nano. I??ve had it for about 16 months now and I use it every single day, mostly for listening to podcasts (many of them about photography). This is my second iPod (my original was the brick-like video iPod) and I??ve taken advantage of the opportunity to have the back of both of them engraved when I ordered them. As a Mini enthusiast I decided with this one to use a quote from The Italian Job. After some deliberation I plumped for Michael Caine??s immortal last line, ??Hang on a minute lads, I??ve got a great idea?.?

Very impressive. I didn't know they come in such colours. I've been an iPod junkie for years until I got my hands on an iPhone. Now my life is one long moment of hi-tech bliss.

The compression algorithms make it hard to listen to classical music seriously, but it's great for car music. Alas, living in the Deep South (OK, of France) and with a kid and pets, etc., I needed something bigger than a Mini...

How did we live without them.
To miss quote Educating Rita "Wouldn't you just die without an iPod?"

Like your quote.

I'm interested to know what's on yours?
