I have a horrible feeling I may have misunderstood Tom??s theme for today but here goes anyway! I took the theme to mean things which are viewed from above so I went for a walk at lunchtime in search of high points to shoot from. I headed for Priory Park in Chichester where there is a high-ish mound. In the middle ages it was the site of a keep or castle but this was demolished during the 13th century and all that remains now is a large mound in the centre of the park with a path winding up and around it. I spent many a happy hour as a child running around, up and down this mound playing games with friends. I tried shooting things I could see below me from the top but couldn??t get inspired then it occurred to me that the steps up to the top tier could be a subject in themselves. I converted this to monochrome to emphasise the lines and the texture in the concrete steps.
