I managed to have two walks around the gardens here at West Dean today. I popped out before breakfast and found a plethora of dandelion clocks in the wild areas of the garden. This one was illuminated by the early morning sunshine and was reasonably still so I decided to take a few close ups. After lunch I took another stroll with my friend Moira. Down by the River Lavant we found a mother duck with her seven ducklings and with a little patience they came and sat near us as we knelt on the river bank.
